St. Pete Saturday Morning Market
If you have never been to the SATURDAY MORNING MARKET in St. Petersburg you are missing one of the areas BEST MARKETS. www.saturdaymorningmarket.com
This weekly market is Saturdays from 9am-2pm and goes from October til the end of May. It is located at 230 1st Street SE St.Petersburg which is the parking lot of Al Lang Stadium. The market is celebrating its 10th year and is the southeast's largest outdoor market. There are 130 booths with Arts and Crafts, Gourmet and Prepared Foods, Farm Fresh Produce as well as great weekly LIVE entertainment. The market is right by the St. Petersburg Marina,The Pier, Salvador Dali as well as many great DOWNTOWN stores and restaurants. So go to the Saturday Morning Market walk around and see all that DOWNTOWN St. Petersburg has to offer and keep ENJOYING TAMPA BAY!

Some FUN things for the weekend !
Well it is time for the WEEKEND and i wanted to share a few interesting things to do.
1.BLAST FRIDAY on FRIDAY MARCH 29 6-10pm downtown Clearwater. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event the street is CLOSED at the 400 Block of Cleveland Street with a stage set up next to The Capital Theatre and this month's FREE CONCERT is from the band Pure Prairie League. There will be vendors and contests and a few nice local restaurants to check out. www.clevelandstreetdistrict.com
2.The 2nd ANNUAL CUBAN SANDWICH FESTIVAL on SATURDAY MARCH 30 10:30 til 5:30 pm in Centennial Park 1800 E. 8th Ave. Ybor City. This event will have over 20 restaurants and food trucks that will compete in traditional and non-traditional catergories for THE BEST CUBAN SANDWICH TITLE. There will be LIVE MUSIC vendors and also going on at the same time there is a YBOR saturday morning market and many stores, restaurants and shops in the area.

Visit The Hanger Restaurant in St. Pete
Well having a friend in from up North means more dining out and last night we went to The Hanger Restaurant at the Albert Whitted Airport at 540 1st Street, South East located in St. Petersburg 727-823-7767 www.thehangarstpete.com. The restaurant is located upsatirs in the main terminal of the airport overlooking the air field. While dining inside or outside you can see private planes landing and taking off and if you feel like a little after dinner adventure take a helicopter sight seeing tour from Safari Choppers which is located in the lobby www.safarichoppers.com. The menu is simple but fun and if you want to try a great southern dish be open minded and try their Chicken and Waffles wow sounds different but it is so good, They have easy listening LIVE music 7 nights a week and a very cool bar if you just wanna snack and have a drink. They have different drink and food specials daily so make sure you check out their website. So go visit The Hanger Restaurant and enjoy this great spot in DOWNTOWN. James Joyce Irish Pub Ybor City
Went with two friends last nite to LOBSTA MONDAYS at the James Joyce Irish Pub Ybor City. www.jamesjoyceybor.com 1724 E. 8th Avenue Ybor City, Fl. 33605
813-247-1896. This is a fun and cool Irish Pub and the DEAL on MONDAYS is a 2lb. Maine Lobster for 9.95 plus purchase of a beverage...wow. We where welcomed with a smile and we were sat at a nice hightop in the middle of the room. The restaurant was busy but the staff handled it well. The house choice of music was a blend of irish rock and alt rock which added to the unique vibe. After picking our drinks from over 50 beers on tap i said to our server "No need for a menu we'll have LOBSTA for three." (Please note they have a nice menu with Irish Food, Burgers and Salads) Within a few minutes three beautiful lobsters arrived w/ warm butter ready to be enjoyed. We laughed got messy drank our beers and talked about coming back on Prime Rib Night. Please take a moment and check out their website and when you go to visit dont forget to tell them:
