Well having a friend in from up North means more dining out and last night we went to The Hanger Restaurant at the Albert Whitted Airport at 540 1st Street, South East located in St. Petersburg 727-823-7767 www.thehangarstpete.com. The restaurant is located upsatirs in the main terminal of the airport overlooking the air field. While dining inside or outside you can see private planes landing and taking off and if you feel like a little after dinner adventure take a helicopter sight seeing tour from Safari Choppers which is located in the lobby www.safarichoppers.com. The menu is simple but fun and if you want to try a great southern dish be open minded and try their Chicken and Waffles wow sounds different but it is so good, They have easy listening LIVE music 7 nights a week and a very cool bar if you just wanna snack and have a drink.
