Vintage Trouble

Well it was another beautiful weekend and i hope everyone got out and had some FUN. Tomorrow night at the LIVE MUSIC VENUE the  LOCAL 662 www.statetheatreconcerts.com which is located on the 600 Block in Downtown St Petersburg www.sixhundredblock.com a great band named VINTAGE TROUBLE will be playing. www.vintagetrouble.com Their music is an amazing mix of R&B, Rock and Juke Joint Blues you will be dancing all night. They have opened for The Who and in a few weeks they will be opening for The Rolling Stones. The LOCAL 662 is a perfect place to see LIVE MUSIC with good acoustics, friendly staff and a great vibe, So go tomorrow night to the LOCAL 662 and listen to some great music and keep ENJOYING TAMPA BAY!

Harbour Island Art Walk

Well it is time for another great weekend. Make sure you remember this Saturday on Indian Rocks Beach it is The Biggest Beach Party Ever see the previous BLOG from 4/25 plus here are some more fun things to do this weekend.
1. Every Friday from 4-8pm it is FREE ADMISSION at the Tampa Museum of Art which is located at the wonderful Curtis Hickson Waterfront Park  www.tampamuseum.org The museum has a nice collection and they always have new shows every few months. The exterior of the Tampa Museum of Art features programmable LED lights, 45 feet high and 300 feet long and are a beautiful site at night.
2. Tonight is also BLAST FRIDAY in downtown Clearwater www.blastfridayclearwater.com with LIVE MUSIC from Firefall. The party takes place in the Cleveland Street District which has many restaurants and shops to visit.
3. Saturday is the 10th annual Tampa Bay International Dragon Boat Races. The event takes place in the Garrison Channel at 700 S. Florida Ave. starting at 8:30am. www.tampabaydragonboats.com The racers come from all over the USA and CANADA and race in colorful boats with 20 paddlers. Also taking place close by is the ASIA FEST at the Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park. The festival starts at 11am and will feature dance performances,music,martial arts and food. The park is located at 601 Old Water Street in Tampa.

This place is new to the area but i have heard GOOD things about the beers they brew, the food and the friendly service. Biggest Beach Party Ever...

This Saturday from 5-10pm is the annual Biggest Beach Party Ever at the beautiful Indian Rocks Beach County Park www.indian-rocks-beach.com which is located at 1700 Gulf Blvd Indian Rocks Beach.You can bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy beer, wine, food and live music directly ON THE BEACH! AMERICAN STAGE in the PARK

AMERICAN STAGE www.americanstage.org is located in Downtown St. Pete. American Stage presents its shows in the 182-seat Raymond James Theatre year round. The annual American Stage in the Park is held at Demens Landing along the waterfront down by The Pier. www.stpetepier.com  This year it is the Tony-Award winning musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a fun show featuring overachievers trying to win a spelling championship.The show starts this Friday but tonight and tommorow 4/24 and 4/25 are pay-what-you-can performances. The show will run until May 26 so get down to Demens Landing and see a musical outside in a beautiful waterfront park and keep ENJOYING TAMPA BAY!

RAYS vs YANKEES

The New York Yankees are in town to play the Tampa Bay Rays today and tommorow starting at 7pm. www.tampabayrays.com If you have not been to the ballpark in awhile take sometime soon and go see a game and support our team. The stadium offers alot to do beside just watching the game. Go see the Rays Touch Tank a 35-foot, 10,000 gallon tank which is located just beyond the right-center field fence and is free for all fans to visit. If a player hits a home run into the tank, then the organization will donate $5,000 to charity with $2,500 going to the Florida Aquarium and $2,500 to the player's charity of choice.There are shops, food venders and many places to take pictures to remember all the fun you will have at the Tampa Bay Rays games. Tommorow at 4pm its BULLFEST a FREE CONCERT that is presented by USF.
