TIME for the WEEKEND

Well it is time for another great weekend. Make sure you remember this Saturday on Indian Rocks Beach it is The Biggest Beach Party Ever see the previous BLOG from 4/25 plus here are some more fun things to do this weekend.
1. Every Friday from 4-8pm it is FREE ADMISSION at the Tampa Museum of Art which is located at the wonderful Curtis Hickson Waterfront Park  www.tampamuseum.org The museum has a nice collection and they always have new shows every few months. The exterior of the Tampa Museum of Art features programmable LED lights, 45 feet high and 300 feet long and are a beautiful site at night.
2. Tonight is also BLAST FRIDAY in downtown Clearwater www.blastfridayclearwater.com with LIVE MUSIC from Firefall. The party takes place in the Cleveland Street District which has many restaurants and shops to visit.
3. Saturday is the 10th annual Tampa Bay International Dragon Boat Races. The event takes place in the Garrison Channel at 700 S. Florida Ave. starting at 8:30am. www.tampabaydragonboats.com The racers come from all over the USA and CANADA and race in colorful boats with 20 paddlers. Also taking place close by is the ASIA FEST at the Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park. The festival starts at 11am and will feature dance performances,music,martial arts and food. The park is located at 601 Old Water Street in Tampa.
